I have a question for all of the Mother's out there.
While you were pregnant, did you dream about your baby? If so, were you accurate when it came to the gender of the baby?

The Holiday's
It has been a very busy couple of weeks. First there was Christmas, which was a lot of fun. We were in Halifax for Christmas day. Chad and I woke up relatively early. We opened presents from each other and I made waffles for breakfast. That is one tradition I wanted to start this year. They were only ok because it was my first attempt. I will have to perfect that skill by next christmas. That afternoon we went and visited Chad's family. We had a great dinner at Chad's brothers place and stayed there until midnight watching movies and playing with the kids.
This is my tree...I say "my" because Chad hates it. I have to say that this year it looks better with the normal white lights, verus last year with the dang rope light!
Then boxing day, bright and early we left to go to my parents place. We exchanged gifts there and since we were all together my older sister inisted we do a family picture. She is the photographer in the family and dispite her love of taking pictures....she hates taking our family picture cause we like to complain through the whole process. It turned out nice though.
New Years came quickly after that and my sisters were planning a party. They asked me to make a cake for it. So I did and we spent new years with my family and friends. It was a fun night.
Then 3 days later it was my birthday (I told you it was busy).
I am now 26 years old. It is hard to believe! I am not really sure what happened to the last 5 years to make them go by so quickly! Chad had invited family over to have cake and ice cream on my birthday. Just before he brought the cake out he asked me for candles...i said we didn't have any. That didn't discourage Chad...he is quite creative! I had match candles. Thanks babe! You are the best!
Now it is January 6th and I have offically given my notice at work and my last day will be Jan 22nd. This has been coming for a long time and I am so happy to have finally done it!
I have been told by Caverly that "this is our year"...I am hoping that 2010 is a great year!

Chirstmas is coming!
It is hard to believe that it is already december. I have most of my shopping done, but I still feel rushed! I decided this year i would make an advent wreath...I saw one in a magazine i have and thought it looked cute. This is how mine turned out...
This is what is inside! I love Lindor chocolates!
I also wanted to mention that I am pretty excited for my brother. Since I can remember Alec's life has been basketball. This year he started school at UNB Saint John and he made the basketball team. I am pretty proud, so any game he has that is near the city Chad and I go to. We were lucky with his first game, it was at Mount Saint Vincent.
This is Alec (number 4) taking some foul shots at that first game.
Last weekend we went to Truro to see him play. I used to go to every game he played in high school. It is good to see him out there again. He is a pretty amazing player, even though he might argue that with me...he's just modest!

Laura's Home!!

I am late with this post, but on the 18th my Sister got home from her mission. The 18 months went by so fast! It is good to have her around again though. Chad and I went to the airport to meet here. My Mom got us to make posters and everything. Chad and I got there a little early, her flight was supposed to get in at 10:50pm. We got there around 10:30, and as we were walking in the door Chad said "wouldn't it be funny if she was already here..." Then we looked ahead at the benches by the door and there was Laura sitting all alone. Her plane got in a hour early. So the posters and the video camera were all wasted! My parents showed up like 10 minutes later. It would have been fun to have us all gathered around waiting for her when she got off the plane, but I think this makes a better story!
Anyway...it is good to have you home La!

A Few Faves
Here are a few things I love! Some of them I have experienced, some I just want!
I am just lovin the song Beggin' by Madcon! I like the original version by the Four Seasons but the newer version just makes me want to dance!
Stewart Black Cherry pop. I LOVE black cherry pop! I told Chad the other day that when we buy a house I want to install a "water"fountain that supplies me with black cherry pop 24/7. I was half kidding!
This is a recent purchase I made from ebay...120 eye shadow pallet from Coastal Scents. I have been having fun playing with this the last 2 weeks. I love the rainbow eye that I do...I feel like Rainbow Bright! (not that i would wear it in public, but it is fun to play)This watch is something that I dont have, but want! How cool is it? It is called the Nooka Mirrored Zot V2. It is a little more than I can afford for a watch, but I am keeping my eye out for it on ebay. Just to demonstrate how it works... in this picture the time is 8:25pm and 55 seconds.

Now, I love online shopping...it is so much better than going to the store. As you probably all know I love ebay! But I also love www.stupid.com, where else would you be able to find Sushi packing tape and mouth spray that lets you instantly look and feel canadian? Obviously this site is for gag gifts, but i like to give those every once in a while...this is your place to find it!

I love croissants! Almost every time i go home for a visit my Mom has croissants waiting for me!
Lastly, I love these 2 magazines! They have such fun easy ideas! I am not creative, i need these magazines to copy from! Great ideas!
