Excited...

I am excited, Sunday is mine and Chad's 2nd Wedding Anniversary. I cant believe how fast the time has gone by. Chad was supposed to be camping this weekend (but got cancelled because of rain) so we dont have anything planned really. Hopefully we can do dinner or something on Saturday now.
However, the real reason I wanted to post today is because of last night...Chad and I were sitting at home watching TV and he said lets go get a treat. So he came up with the idea that we should go get cookies and milk and come home and watch Shrek 2. Now this might not seem very special, but that is what we did on our first date. He is so cute. However, that would have been a cute way to spend our anniversary. We will have to come up with something else for that. We had a good time together last night though.

So another thing I should update on is work, I know I posted about trying to quit my job etc. Well my boss convinced me to stay by changing my job around a bit and giving me more money. So I am still at the same place but I am now the Office Manager, and I am on salary instead of hourly. It is going ok, my stress levels have decreased , so I am taking it one day at a time.

I am very excited that it is almost the weekend! Saturday sleep in...here i come!

Weekend Fun and Good-bye's

I know you must all be shocked...another post so soon, I am a little surprised myself.

I am sad to say that my old Roomate Kate, is moving to Denver. I am very happy for her, and I know she is going to do great at her new job, but I am sad to see her go so far away. Kate and I had our last dinner date on thursday. It was very nice. We went to Jack Astor's in Bayers Lake. We caught up on everything going on with one another. She leaves this Friday, she will be missed!
Here is a picture after our date. She just got her hair cut that day, it looks great!

Then on Friday, we were supposed to go camping with Chad's Family in the valley. I am now so glad we cancelled it. I think I would have froze to death in the cold and the rain. We decided on Friday afternoon that we should reschedule. So then Chad and i had to come up with new plans. Chad wanted to get out of the house, so we went bowling. We played 2 strings, I won the first and Chad won the 2nd. I have this weird thing with bowling, and anyone who has played with me can attest to it, but I do really well, ususally winning the first string, but always do miserable the 2nd time around. However, on Saturday, my last turn to bowl, I got a strike! That almost never happens!

Gotta love bowling shoes...they are so hot right now! Also, Chad has the best bowling technique. it's like Ballet Bowling...He's Cute.

This is Our Score Card...we should have had a tie breaker.
On Saturday Chad and I got to sleep in, and sleep in we did! It was almost 10 when i got up! I was so excited! We did some much needed laundry and then decided we both needed Jeans so we went to the mall. After a few purchases there we went home to set up our new DVD rack. We couldn't decide between a rack that held 160 DVD or one that held 300. We bought the 160. We got home and set it up, we filled it. We should have went for the bigger one. Oh well. We buy too many movies! We then watched Night at the Museum. It was pretty good.
Sunday was pretty relaxing, after Church of course. And now it is Monday, at work. Work is not fun! I wish I was rich and didn't have to work. Even just a couple hundred thousand would be nice! I could invest!
Anyway, I am off to dream of a richer time...have a good day!

Behind....I know

It takes me so long to post, mainly because I never have pictures at work, but I will try to do better!

Where to start...ok let start with the most exciting event of the last 2 weeks...Karen and Brandon got married on Aug 4th! It was a very beautiful reception! The wedding party looked great and of course Karen looked amazing. I must say that Karen thinks of everything. Congradulations to the new Mr and Mrs Bing.

Their First Dance as "the Bing's". So fun! They picked a great song to dance to!

Karen's dress was amazing. ( I took these pictures from facebook, because my camera was acting up that night! I was bummed about that, but I am glad so many other people took pictures!)

That same night Chad and I left the reception and went to new glasgow to visit my family.
Some good times were had. Sunday was a relaxing day, as always. Then on Monday Chad and Dad went to play tennis, so Amy and Laura and I decided to go shopping. We looked around for a bit and then decided to go to the Arcade. It was alot of fun. We spent about $5, but we got a ton of tickets. They had this Deal or no Deal game, I won 120 tickets with one try. I love that game! And they had a roller coaster simulation game, which isn't even close to the same as a real one, but still fun. We were going to go back later that night with Chad, but we ran out of time. We went home and everyone jumped into the pool for some fun.

We finshed the night off with some dinner with my gandparents and chocolate fondue! My mom has a chocolate fountian so we used that. So yummy! She just emailed me yesterday saying that she bought a new foundue set and wants Chad and I to come back soon to test it out. i think we will do cheese next time!
I love going home. I wished we lived closer.

Also exciting last week, was that I got to see Sarah! Sarah Mclean is one of my best friends from high school. We lived together durning a couple of years of university and she has since moved to Ottawa to work on parliment hill, she's going to be prime minister one day! :)

Anyway, I haven't seen her ince before she moved to Ottawa, she was home for a visit, so I was able to go to dinner with her and her sisters while they were in the city shopping. It was so great to see her, and catch up!

This is Me, Sarah, Emily, and Rachael at east side Mario's

Chad and I have been keeping busy, life is good. However, our 2 year anniversary is coming up next weekend and I am still not sure what to get him. Any creative ideas are very welcome!!
Have a good day! I'll have more sooner rather than later (I promise Kristi)
